Reviewing AI Answers for a Security Questionnaire or RFP

Here’s how each category works and how you can manage the questions.

Once Vera processes your uploaded questionnaire, the platform will automatically organize the questions into four categories based on how confident it is in the answers.

1. Awaiting Approval

These are questions Vera has answered confidently using your documents and past answers.
The platform has matched its internal confidence threshold, so it just needs you to review and approve them.

Tip: You can select all questions in this category and click Mark as Approved in bulk once you're satisfied.

2. Needs Review

These answers were generated with lower confidence — usually because the content may be outdated or uncertain.

You should review and edit these before approving.

You can:

  • Modify answers using tweaks or a custom AI prompt

  • Assign the question to a teammate

  • Tag the question for future filtering

3. Needs an Answer

These are questions Vera couldn’t answer due to insufficient documentation or no relevant past answers.
They require manual input - Vera will not guess or fill these in.

4. Approved

Once you've reviewed and approved answers, they appear here.
Approved answers are:

  • Ready to export

  • Automatically saved to your knowledge base for future reuse

Filtering by Tag or Assignee

You can filter the question list using tags or assignees. This helps teammates quickly find what they need to review.

By following this guide, you'll be well-equipped to upload documents to Vera's knowledge base effectively.
